Welcome to the deep, juicy, alive experience of pregnancy you've been missing.
Sing and write and commune with your baby like the magical Earth Mama you secretly are. Dance your booty off to Beyoncé in the kitchen and LOVE UP your beautiful pregnant body. Face your fears. Feel your power. Trust your intuition. Own your wisdom. Set your inner artist free.
Basically, be your whole ridiculously beautiful self.
That’s what your kid will want you to be.
(And bonus? That’s what this crazy world actually
needs you to be.)
✨ If you’re craving a deeper experience of this wildly transformative time…
✨ If you want to connect more fully with your baby and yourself…
✨ If you don’t want to look back and realize you missed it because you were just trying to get through it…
If you’re so stressed out right now that it feels impossible to make any space at all—please don’t sign up just to let it sit on your to-do list and make you feel bad.
I mean that with love.
Yes, I created this to work in the margins of your real, busy life. The videos are short. The practices are potent. You can do them in your pajamas—some of them you can even do in the car outside your midwife's office.
But you do need to carve out a little time.
Because let’s be real:
If you want to live in a deeper, more intentional way—especially in a system that’s built to keep you running and consuming and scared—you have to choose it.
This is one of those choices.
And if it's too much for you right now, trusting that and giving yourself grace is more important than adding another "should."
This is for you.

I've been leaving each module feeling centered and joyous in a way that I've barely felt through my pregnancy experience.
THANK YOU!
The course has been so fun and refreshing, there hasn't been anything else like it in my pregnancy so far. I feel so positive after doing every module and it breaks up my to-do-list attitude the rest of the week about all the prep I want to do before my birth.

Julia’s course was a welcome respite from my busy and work-centered life. It was a real treasure to get to tap into my child-self, exploring so many avenues of play and creativity.
This course is not here to guilt-trip you. It’s not going to tell you to never doomscroll. It’s not a lecture.
It’s a joyful invitation.
A friend in your corner inviting you to step toward your deeper self.
Your nudge to truly experience the magic of this time, from someone who’s been there.
Because even though pregnancy may feel endless right now...trust me—it is not.
I’m someone who loved being pregnant (please don’t hate me, but it’s true.) Sometimes even I wish I could go back.
Not because I don’t love my kids (they’re amazing.)
But because there’s something so uniquely beautiful about pregnancy.
Pregnancy is this rare, sacred time where so much is blossoming and growing, and—especially if this is your first birth—you still get to have yourself at the center of it all.
That changes when your baby arrives.
To paraphrase Mary Oliver, now is the time to make the most of your wild and precious pregnancy!
Once you’re pregnant, it’s not all about you anymore. If you’re a mom already, you know this viscerally. You can’t even go to the bathroom by yourself.
So at some point you have to ask yourself, what kind of life do I want for my kids?
Do I want them measuring their satisfaction at the end of the day by how much they got done? Squeezing in moments of false pleasure with dopamine hits from TikTok? Feeling anxious, and then losing an hour scrolling on forums for something to ease it just a tiny bit?
Or measuring satisfaction by how much joy they felt that day? Getting dopamine hits from actual connection with real humans. Feeling their feelings, even the hard ones, instead of numbing out on a screen. Learning how to listen inside for answers, not always looking to others.
Uh, yeah. That second one. Me too.
But here’s the inconvenient truth. If this is the kind of life we want for our kids, then it has to be the way we live for ourselves.
Because your kids don’t learn from what you tell them.
They learn from what you show them.
And I promise I’m not throwing shade here. I doomscroll just like everyone else. We don’t have to be perfect. And how can we be? The world is literally set up around us to make us live this way. It’s not our fault.
But just because we all do it, doesn’t mean we get a pass.
We can shift toward a more conscious, connected life.
We just need structure. We need to set aside time for something different, and then actually do those things.
To give you that structure.
To make space for the deeper stuff in the middle of your real life.
To help you reconnect with yourself, your baby, and what matters most—
not just for you, but for the humans you’re raising.
While most pregnancy resources tell you what to do and when to do it, this one is designed to help you tune into yourself—because you’re the only one who knows what’s truly right for you and your baby.
That doesn’t mean you don’t need information. (Your intuition might not be able to tell you your baby is the size of a kumquat—mine can’t either.)
But when you’re not connected to your inner compass, it’s so easy to spin out—Googling symptoms at 1:23am on a Tuesday, scrolling through conflicting advice, and taking guidance from random strangers on mumsnet.com.
Wild Expectations gives you tools to come back to yourself.
Not as a cute side activity, but as a sacred tool for accessing your inner voice.
Even if you haven’t touched a paintbrush in years, creative expression is one of the most powerful ways to connect with yourself during pregnancy. You’re using a tool that’s aligned with the state you are literally experiencing as a human: you’re creating life. If there was ever a time to be aware of creativity as our divine birthright, it’s now. So using your creativity in pregnancy? Magic.
Plus, it’s fun. (Which matters.)
And, the more connected you are to your own creativity, the more you can be a cheerleader for your kids’ self expression.
Win win win.
We literally grow and raise the entire next generation of humans on this planet.
And we deserve to be resourced, supported, and deeply connected to who we are and what matters most.
That’s what this is really all about.
Hi! I'm a licensed therapist turned course creator, coach, and host of the Regenerative Motherhood podcast.
I live in a beautiful ecovillage with my husband and two daughters, and I do my best to actually live the things I teach—making space for my creativity and soul work, staying connected to what matters, and finding beauty inside the chaos. Also: dance parties are one of my core values.
I know what it’s like to feel buried under a mountain of to-dos while a tiny human grows inside you.
But I also know how sacred and wildly alive this time can be—if you give yourself even a sliver of space to feel it.

I had a nagging feeling that my resistance to creativity was holding me back from the intentional, healing, soul-connected self-care that I was craving. Julia helped me find and nurture the creative part of me that I shut down decades ago.
This was not only incredible for me, but it gave me the courage to model creative self-care for my kids, to be more playful with them, and to encourage them to honor their own creativity! I'm so grateful.

(Preferably with a cozy blanket and a bowl of salted caramel ice cream. Or pickles. Or both.)
